BOOKKEEPER/ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST

About Us

EET is a leading luxury chauffeur company, providing exceptional service to our clients. We are expanding our in-house team and seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Specialist to manage our financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

- Process staff salaries accurately and on time.

- Maintain detailed payroll records, ensuring compliance with regulations.

- Finalise and verify chauffeur statements, resolving any discrepancies promptly.

Expenses

- Collate receipts and invoices for expenses, ensuring proper documentation.

- Manage the expense reimbursement process efficiently.

Invoicing & Payments

- Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts using accounting software.

- Pay supplier invoices and monitor bank account balances.

- Generate and process client invoices accurately, coordinating with sales and operations teams to confirm billing details.

VAT & Financial Records

- Complete VAT returns.

- Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.

- Verify business accounts, alerting the Accountant to discrepancies and assisting with reconciliations.

- Assist with administrative tasks and yearly account preparations.

 

Qualifications

- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts, ideally in a similar industry.

- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and regulations.

- Proficiency in expense and invoice management.

- Familiarity with financial software (experience with Xero is essential).

- High accuracy and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to liaise with chauffeurs, clients, and internal teams.

 

Location & Working Arrangements

The role is office-based in Riccarton, near Edinburgh Airport, with hybrid working options. Flexible working arrangements are available to support work-life balance.

Pay: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
