At the heart of our service is a Commitment to Excellence, and this begins with our Chauffeur recruitment and training process through the EET Chauffeur Training & Development Academy.

Our Operations Manager has the overall responsibility to the Academy, bringing over 10 years of industry experience to EET. Working closely with our in-house Security Consultant and Driver Trainer, they foster a dual commitment to delivering exceptional training. Together, they continually bring valuable insights into the Chauffeur role while planning and adapting to future demands in the industry.

Initial Assessment

All prospective Chauffeurs undergo a comprehensive evaluation, beginning with an eyesight test and a review of their adherence to Highway Code Regulations. This is followed by an observational drive, assessing their deportment and other skills such as the smooth use of accelerator, pax comfort and temperament. Only candidates meeting our high standards proceed to the next stage.

Induction training

Chauffeur Induction

Successful candidates participate in a half-day induction program that includes:

- A presentation on our company values and commitment to customer excellence.

- Hands-on training with our technology systems and vehicle operation.

The second half of the day involves a familiarisation drive to key locations such as the local international airport and prominent hotels and venues, ensuring familiarity with essential routes. They are continually assessed during the induction process.

Training

Ongoing Evaluation

Our dedication to quality extends beyond the induction process. Chauffeurs undergo regular performance checks, including detailed mystery shopper assessments, to ensure the highest standards are consistently met. Constructive feedback from these evaluations helps drive continuous improvement in service standards.

Additionally, all Chauffeurs are subject to periodic DVLA checks to confirm their driving records and Disclosure Scotland checks to ensure they meet our strict safety and security criteria.

Client feedback is actively sought at the end of every journey, forming a vital part of our commitment to delivering exceptional service.
